It's 2022 and covid-19 is still happening but life goes on, as much as we wanted to stay home it can get really stressful for all of us to stay in all the time, desperate for safe ways to get out for the house and our best option now is choosing places with less or no crowds that's located outdoors.
Dragon fruits are one of Miya's favourite fruit, she probably doesn't know how these are produce, so I thought why not bring her to a dragon fruit farm away from town. I believe by expanding their knowledge of food will help them develop wholesome eating habits by making healthier food choice and less food wastage.
HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm is located in Sepang, which is just an hour drive from home (Puchong), we visited on a weekend surprisingly it was pretty empty, which is what we hope for. Parking was easily available and just like the park it was free as well.
The farm itself is not big so it was a perfect destination for us it also has the Largest Dragon Fruit Shaped Structure that's located in the middle of the park.
Before entering the eco farm there's a halal certified themed Dragon Fruit cafe that serves various of Dragon Fruit theme food & beverages, so we had lunch there before we went into the farm itself.
Here's what we had for lunch, I highly recommend the burger & Lokal Dragon Fruit Breath Juices that comes with dry ice effect, the are other interesting choices like Dragon Fruit Nasi Lemak and the Dragon Fruit Jumbo Curry Bun which I'll love to try on my next visit.
Besides learning about the growth of Dragon Fruits another activity to look forward was watching planes take off, since it's near to the airport every now and then we'll hear planes flying over us.
We manage to spent a delightful day at HL Dragon Fruit Eco Farm, the staffs were really friendly, the environment was clean and tidy, though a few people came and went, for the most part we had the place to ourselves. If you're looking for a great way to spend an afternoon with your kids I highly recommend this spot.
