DKSH spreads fun with SKIPPY® PEANUT BUTTER on the World Sandwich Day

Did you know 3rd November is World Sandwich Day? Sandwiches are my ultimate grab and go food but what you put inside makes a big difference!


In celebration of this wonderful day, DKSH has teamed up SKIPPY® PEANUT BUTTER and DIY Bites Studio for a Gourmet Sandwich Making Workshop featuring Chef Leah Choy. We learned how to transform an everyday sandwich into a gourmet dish by incorporating the delicious and smooth taste of SKIPPY® peanut butter.




The event started with a speed cooking challenge, the chefs were given a time limit to create 3 different kinds of sandwiches where they transform normal sandwiches into beautiful delicious ones and followed by the workshop where we were thought how to create a gourmet sandwich, you don't need bread, as an alternative you can use rice cakes or even a wrap to create your sandwich. 


We were given rice crackers where we mixed them up with chocolate in a small bowl once it's nicely coated pressed down into shape and freeze them. 

Next up is creating our own Chocolate Ganache as a filling, whipped the cream until it's fluffy and fold in the melted chocolate and last but not least topped it with yummy smooth SKIPPY® Peanut Butter and strawberries. 


Here's my final piece, the recipe was quick and easy to make making it a great dessert to prepare at home for our family.
