Every Chinese New Year my family and I return to Kluang to enjoy a few days of CNY celebration with my husband's family. This round I decided to enjoy some cafe food instead because of the crowd in most Chinese restaurants and I found one that I really like and had a really good time there and now I am excited to share this with everyone.
BW Cafe is an old house turned into a cafe and it comes along with a beautiful venue which I fell in love at first sight, it was vibrant and serene with a spacious garden, it will be lovely for events like weddings and parties, if this was in KL I would definitely hold my parties here. It was also very thoughtful of them to prepare an indoor playroom for kids to enjoy themselves so the parents could eat in peace, unfortunately, I was too excited to enjoy with Miya that I have forgotten to snap a picture of it.
Food and and drinks served were Asian and Western, they had the usual soups, steaks, pasta as well as local delicacies like nasi lemak. They have cakes and afternoon tea sets as well, something I would love to come back and try out.
Green Tea Honey RM6
Spaghetti Aglio Olio RM19.90
The Aglio Olio was well cooked, served with prawns and squids, the pasta was al-dente but it was still a little firm, the seasoning was well-executed however it wasn't spicy enough for my taste bud, needed to add more chili flakes to it.
Chicken Teriyaki Bento RM20.90
After my first visit here, I could see myself coming back again, I absolutely love the place and I can't wait to come back the next round and enjoy a high tea session under the trees, I was also really impressed with their service, the owners and waiters were really helpful and friendly, so if you ever happen to drop by Kluang, do pay them a visit.
