TAC Yakitori Japanese restaurant in Twin Arkz
Introducing TAC Yakitori, a hidden gem located inside Twin Arkz Condominium in Bukit Jail, first of all it was really convenient in getting a parking space and it was free, no more going round and round searching for a parking.
TAC Yakitori is a Japanese restaurant and a bistro, they serve a great selection of popular Japanese dishes from sushi, sashimi, bento, don, yakimono and they have the best egg.let dessert ever. As a bistro, happy hour start at 530pm till 8pm ith just RM50 per bucket of Carlsberg, RM70 per bucket of Asahi and RM75 per bucket of KB 1664 Blanc but that's not it, every Friday and Saturday there will be a live band from 830pm onwards.
The restaurant is very comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly which makes this a great place for family and friends. There are 3 parts of settings available, the indoor dining area, the smoking area and a private room which caters for small parties or gathering.
Recently, TAC Yakitori launched their new menus and here are the new additions they have in store. Thank Racheal from FoodiLIFEcious and TAC Yakitori for having me at the food review.

STARTERS
Agedashi tofu
Deep fried tofu served in dashi-based soup and topped with finely chopped green onion, ginger, grated daikon, and katsuobushi.
Sashimi Salad with Homemade Tartar Sauce & Goma
A healthy and refreshing choice served with green leaf lettuce and thick cuts of sashimi served with homemade tartar sauce and goma sauce. I personally love the tartar sauce because it was so refreshing.
SASHIMI & SUSHI
Salmon & Salmon Belly Sashimi
Fresh and delicious cut of salmon and salmon belly. I love how generous they were and the fresh fish just melts in every bite I take.
California Maki
One of the most popular maki, the roll contains crab meat, cucumber, tamago and the outer layer is garnish with ebiko.
Unagi Maki
The roll contains tamago and cucumber and its topped with caramelized unagi.
Salmon Maki
Sushi rice stuffed with fresh salmon.
Soft Shell Crab Temaki
The soft shell crab hand roll is another one of my favorites. I love how it was crispy and delicious!
YAKIMONO
Salmon Belly Mentaiko
One of my favorite dish, fresh, fat salmon belly grilled perfectly and dressed with lots of mentaiko
Sake Kama Shio
This grilled salmon head is the fattiest and juicy part of the fish, the skin is crisp and the inside is just cooked through.
Salmon Shio
Lightly season the salmon was glazed in soy sauce and then grilled.
DONS AND BENTOS
Chicken Teriyaki Don
As the name suggests this don is served with teriyaki chicken on top of steamed rice.
Unagi Don
Unagi Don is topped with grilled unagi in kabayaki style. The fillets are glazed with a sweetened soy-based sauce.
Yakiniku Don
My all time favorite don, served with beef and onion simmered in a sweet sauce.
Tempura Don
Golden crispy shrimps and vegetable tempura served over steamed rice, drizzled with tentsuyu.
Tempura & Salmon Shio Bento
Crispy tempura and salmon served over steamed rice and it comes with a green salad as well.
SUKIYAKI
Savory hot pot served with thinly sliced beef, tofu, mushrooms and a variety of vegetables cooked in a soy sauce broth. Dipped your cooked ingredients into the raw egg before putting it in your mouth! Yummy!COLD NOODLES
These Japanese cold noodles are light and refreshing TAC offers choices of Zaru Soba, Cha Soba (greentea soba) and Zaru Udon. First, mix some of the green onions and wasabi into the dipping sauce. Then take a few strands of noodles and dip them into the sauce before eating them.DESSERTS - EGG.LET
This was my sweet ending to my lunch and it gave me a satisfying smile on that first bite! The egglet is a famous Hong Kong dessert known as Egg Waffles or Gai Dan Zai 雞蛋仔 the texture was egg-cellent! It was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, this dessert comes in many flavors and it been the best I've had so far. A MUST TRY!!!Melaka Sweet tooth comes with a scoop of gula melaka ice cream and drizzled in gula melaka sauce.
Sweet Romance comes with a scoop of chocolate hazelnut ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
